Trivago
Who are Trivago?
Trivago is a hotel search engine that will help you compare prices from a number of booking sites and find your ideal accommodation at a low price. What it does is take deals from all over the web for a particular trip. With a great user interface and robust search filters, Trivago is far from being complicated to use in terms of narrowing your options by price range, location or amenities you want. Its mission is to help travellers make the best decision on how much they should pay for flights, hotels, etc, in all their transparent and unbiased majesty!
What were their requirements?
Trivago wanted to strengthen its position as everyone’s trusted advisor via blog publishing in the travel industry and thereby entice more travellers to plan their trips faster through content that helps you “the traveller” have a better plan.
They needed content to demonstrate the range of hotels available on their site and inform users with best-in-class travel advice and destination guides that uncovered local secrets and ways travellers could upgrade every trip.
We wanted to create content that would help users across all stages of their planning journey, from picking the right destination to finding great deals on accommodation.
It was a 200-blog order that comprised the guides to be published on their website, as well as content pieces for guest posts.
How Content Hammering helped out?
This content strategy for Trivago didn’t make them a one-stop shop when it comes to travel planning, but at least they started nurturing their blog section because earlier, it was almost barren.
Our destination guides were deep, multi-level content focusing not just on where to stay but also on what to see and do, eat recommendations, and sharing local hacks built around Trivago search assets.
We also wrote various articles on travel trends, budget traveller tips, and how-to guides for Trivago in locating cheap hotel deals. These campaigns were supported by our SEO efforts to increase visibility on relevant travel searches.
It was a small-scale order finished off within four working days by our experts.
